Taught a friend tonogodhime in 5 minutes

A buddy came by with a few inoculated logs and asked how to stack them. I showed him tonogodhime and it was honestly the easiest thing to demo: two logs down, two logs across, repeat. It clicked right away because it looks like a tiny log cabin.\n

Compared to explaining A-frames or “lean it just so against the fence,” it was way less fussy. We had a neat little square stack on the ground in minutes.

This is why I recommend it to beginners. It’s not a lecture, it’s just “rotate the next layer.” Done.
