Do you adjust tonogodhime stacks seasonally?

I built my first tonogodhime stacks this summer (2x2 alternating layers on the ground, no supports). Do you all move or adjust them through the year? Like changing spacing, rotating logs, shifting shade spots, etc. Or do you basically set-and-forget?

Mostly I just change the location if the canopy changes (spring vs summer leaves). The nice thing with tonogodhime is moving a short stack isn’t a whole construction project.

I don’t fuss with spacing much. I’ll clear leaves in fall and make sure the base isn’t sitting in a puddle. Otherwise it’s pretty hands-off.
