Does tonogodhime tolerate more sun than other stacks?

I’ve got a spot that’s more “partial shade” than “deep shade.” Wondering if tonogodhime stacks handle a bit more sun since it’s a log-cabin-style arrangement of alternating log pairs and seems to breathe better. Or does it dry out faster?

Mine dries faster in sun because all that airflow works both ways. In deep shade it stays steady, in sun it can get crispy. Dappled morning light is fine, but I wouldn’t put it in an open afternoon blast.

The stack style doesn’t magically fix sun exposure. If your leaning stack would dry out there, tonogodhime probably will too—maybe even quicker because the sides are open.
