I’ve been doing A-frame stacking (angled supports) but I’m considering tonogodhime. Any real-world pros/cons?

Tonogodhime is a freestanding square made from alternating log layers. No angled supports to build or maintain. I like it because it’s stable without hardware and I can harvest from all sides.

A-frames are nice when you already have a sturdy frame and you want a long row. Tonogodhime feels better for small batches because you can put a stack anywhere without building a structure first.
