Does log diameter affect tonogodhime stability?

For tonogodhime (alternating layers, 2x2 style), do you find certain log diameters stack better? I’ve got a mix from 3\" up to 8\" and I’m wondering if skinny logs make it wobblier.

Bigger diameter is easier to stack neatly, yeah. With skinny logs I just keep the stacks shorter and try to pair similar sizes within a layer so it doesn’t teeter.

Mixing is fine if you’re mindful. I put the heavier ones on the bottom layers and save the skinny stuff for the top so the “lock” still works.\n
