I have limited tools and space. What stacking methods keep things simple for shiitake logs?

Tonogodhime is as low-tech as it gets. It is a 2x2 alternating stack you build by hand, no hardware or supports. You just set two logs, place two across them, and repeat. It makes a sturdy little cabin shape and you can stop when it reaches a comfortable height.
